14-September-2016 - Cathedral Chambers will hold a second mock trial this Saturday!
Cathedral Chambers is holding a second Mock trial for their pupils on Saturday. Our pupils, during their first six, will undergo two formal assessments.
The first assessment was a mock trial in public children law on 18th June 2016. The second assessment will be related to private children law. This concludes their first six process giving, our pupils a fully rounded training in all aspects of Family Law, So they are ready to embark on their second six very soon!

Jennifer Robinson will be discussing applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 at the Resolution Family Law Update on the 17th September 2015. Jennifer Robinson has recently accepted a position as a lecturer at Cardiff College. Jennifer will be teaching the practice of family law to ILEX students.


20-September-2013 - Family Law Review Lectures
Steven Hancox and Jennifer Robinson both delivered lectures to the Family Law Review hosted by the Confederation of South Wales Law Societies on the 11th September 2013. The event was well attended and both lectures received positive feedback. All members of chambers are available to lecture on a range of family law issues.


27-August-2013 - UPCOMING LECTURE
Steven Hancox and Jennifer Robinson will be speaking at the Confederation of South Wales Law Societies' Family Law Review on the 11th September 2013.
Steven, an experienced civil mediator, will be discussing the application of the civil mediation model to family law. Jennifer will be delivering a case law update concentrating on private child law disputes.

09-July-2013 - Immigration
Cathedral Chambers have noticed whilst conducting our wide ranging caseload that more and more cases, both within the public and private law spectra, now require expertise in aspects of immigration law which on occasion, requires external advice. In our aim to offer an all encompassing service, we have decided to extend the ambit of our family law expertise by plugging that gap. To that end, we now offer representation in immigration cases. This will have the effect of enabling our practitioners to advise on all areas of family law as these cases become more and more prevalent.


27-June-2013 - Fundraising for Tros Gynnal Plant
Members of chambers enjoyed some fundraising with a difference by taking part in a treasure hunt organised by JNP solicitors on 21st June 2013. The evening took ‘Team Cathedral’ around well known Cardiff locations in aid of local children’s charity, Tros Gynnal Plant. Thank you JNP for a great evening.
