Felicie is a specialist family practitioner on the Wales Circuit who has built a thriving childcare practice. She was called to the Bar in 1999 and is a member of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. She is also a member of the Family Law Bar Association. She deals exclusively with public law and has long reaching experience of representing Local Authorities, parents, Children’s Guardians, separately represented children and alternative family members. Felicie also regularly represents clients with learning disabilities and often acts on behalf of the Official Solicitor. She practices in all levels of Courts.
Felicie has particular expertise in serious non-accidental injury cases, some resulting in the death of a child, serious sexual abuse cases, fabricated/induced illness cases and severe child cruelty cases. She enjoys conducting fact finding hearings but also regularly conducts cases involving generalised neglect and emotional abuse. She has extensive expertise in dealing with cases involving international elements, including kidnapping of children outside the jurisdiction.
Additionally she has expertise in cases involving female genital mutilation and frequently appears without a leader in cases in which one or more of the parties are represented by silks.

Felicie has a good working knowledge of French. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, reading, music, attending concerts and festivals, cinema and fine wine. She also very much enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
She is currently relishing the excitement and challenges of being a founder member of the first specialist family law set in Wales .
