Practice overview:

Emma regularly accepts instructions in a variety of family law cases including public law, private law and matrimonial finance matters, and has experience of issues which include child neglect, sexual abuse and domestic violence. Emma has conducted hearings in respect of applications in Occupation, Non-Molestation, Specific Issue and Prohibited Steps Orders.


Emma brings a wealth of experience having served in the British Army (Royal Military Police). During her service, she was deployed to a number of operational theatres including Germany, Poland, Canada, and Kuwait, and was awarded an Operational Service Medal (OSM) for her deployment to Iraq in 2007, whilst working with the prestigious Special Investigations Branch (SIB). Emma undertook a number of high-level enquiries into the deaths of service personnel overseas on behalf of the UK Coroner. Upon leaving the Military Emma worked as an Investigator within the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Major Crime and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
