Practice overview:
Faye joined Cathedral Chambers as a tenant in July 2018 after successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Sheila Radcliffe.

Faye has already started to develop a busy family practice and accepts instructions in private law and public law.

In public law proceedings, Faye acts for Local Authorities, parents, guardians and other intervening parties from the initial stages of proceedings, through to contested final hearings. Faye has a sensitive approach yet offers practical and appropriate advice to her clients.

Prior to obtaining pupillage, Faye obtained her law degree at the University of Surrey, where she completed a placement year as part of her undergraduate studies. During this placement year, she worked as a Junior Clerk’s Assistance as a specialist family law set in South East England. Faye then went on to complete the Bar Professional Training Course at BBP Manchester, before working as a paralegal within the litigation department of a large regional law firm in the North West.

Faye is also regularly instructed in private law matters including Section 8 applications, specific issue applications and occupation orders. Faye is instructed by applicants, respondents and appointed Guardians, from the initial First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointments, through to Findings of Fact and contested Final Hearings.
