Practice overview:
Hayley deals with all aspects of public law children work. She is regularly instructed by Local Authorities, parents, grandparents, family members and adoptive parents and on behalf of children.

Hayley deals with complex public law cases which include significant physical injuries to children, allegations of sexual abuse, issues of jurisdiction, neglect, domestic violence and chronic drug and alcohol abuse. She is adept at dealing with cases which involve substantial volume of disclosure and reports from experts in numerous fields and specialisms.

Hayley has an ability to put both professional and lay clients at ease. She is particularly skilled when dealing with young and vulnerable parents and is able to distil complicated legal concepts to ensure they feel involved and empowered in proceedings.

Hayley is diligent in preparation and will always go the extra mile for her clients. She is as approachable, dependable and robust in her advice as she is skilled and formidable in cross examination. Clients can be rest assured their cases will put thoroughly and skilfully.

Hayley has experience in the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and High Court. She has appeared in the Court of Appeal. She has represented parents in lengthy fact-finding hearings where other parties have been represented by leading and junior counsel.

Hayley is a pupil supervisor and is proud to have steered two pupils through pupillage to tenancy.
