Lauren Adams

Lauren joined Cathedral Chambers as a pupil in October 2023 under the supervision of Hayley Daniel.

Lauren completed her Law degree at Cardiff University before going on to complete the Bar Training Course and separate Masters degree, where she obtained a Distinction, finishing top of her cohort in the Family Advocacy module.

Prior to undertaking the bar course and obtaining pupillage, Lauren spent time working as a paralegal in the Family Law department at a local well- reputed firm of solicitors.

Lauren gained experience of all areas of family law and was particularly involved in private law child arrangements proceedings. Lauren also spent her time volunteering for organisations such as Support Through Court and Victim Support where she completed specialist domestic abuse training and gained experience in advocating for vulnerable clients with a history of domestic abuse.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys travelling. She is a PADI qualified scuba diver and keen swimmer, having previously competed at British Championship level. Lauren is also a Grade 8 level piano player.
