Practice overview:
Phoebe joined chambers in October 2022 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Hayley Daniel.
Since she began accepting instructions, Phoebe has started to develop a busy workload across all areas of Chambers’ practice and prides herself on her friendly but professional attitude. Phoebe regularly acts for clients across all stages of private law proceedings which has included conducting fact-finding and final hearings often containing significant allegations. Outside of the private law sphere, Phoebe also receives instructions to represent parents, local authorities and guardians in care proceedings.
Phoebe completed her Law degree at the University of Reading before going on to complete the Bar Training Course and separate Masters degree at Cardiff University where she obtained the 5th highest mark in year, finishing top of her cohort in the Family Advocacy module. Prior to undertaking the bar course, Phoebe spent time working as a paralegal at a local well-reputed firm of solicitors where she gained experience of all areas of family law and was particularly involved in care proceedings often involving non-accidental injuries to children, sexual abuse and poisoning.
Outside of work, Phoebe enjoys spending time with her family and friends (both human and of the four-legged animal variety).
